We have some great news. We’re expecting a delivery from Wellensteyn. Wellensteyn is from Hamburg, Germany and fyi, Hamburg is known for lots of fog and rain. A little similar to our lovely San Francisco. Wellensteyn is manufacturing some outstanding jackets for this specific climate. Stay tuned, well post here as soon as the jackets are in our stores.

Founded more than 60 years ago in Hamburg Germany by Adolf Wuttke,  Wellensteyn originated as a producer of deep-submerge mechanical instruments designed to withstand the rigors of the North Sea.  Wuttke also realized that his customers, technicians and dockhands in the shipyards of Germany, were also in constant need of sturdy, water-resistant work-wear. He developed a heavy, seaworthy, waxed sailcloth that could be use to provide superior durability for those exposed to some of the toughest elements.
