Nudie Jeans Backbone Collection - Fairtrade Certified from Cotton Plant to Garment
NUDIE JEANS PRESENTS FAIRTRADE ORGANIC COTTON - THE PILOT
In Spring 2012, Nudie Jeans delivers the world's first garments that are completely Fairtrade certified. This means that every step from the organic cotton growing and harvesting, through perparation, spinning, cutting and sewing to the final manufactured product is certified according to Fairtrade rules and regulations.
This project has been made possible by a unique co-operation between Fairtrade, Fair Wear Foundation, Armstrong Knitting Mills and Nudie Jeans. This pilot project was initiated by Fairtrade with the goal to certify not only the farming but also the full chain of production.
